Google has added support for Morse code typing to its Gboard app for iOS, providing an accessible method of digital communication for people with disabilities.
The customizable feature replaces the letters of the keyboard with large dot and dash keys to enter text, and offers text-to-Morse sequences to the auto-suggestion strip above the keyboard.
Google has also launched a Morse Typing Trainer web game that teachers users how to communicate in Morse code using Gboard.

LinkedIn is adding a couple of new features to its iOS app that should make it easier for users to expand their professional networks on the service.
For the first time, QR codes can now be used to connect with other user profiles. This can be done by either tapping the QR code icon in the Home tab search bar to launch the QR scanner, or uploading a photo of a code taken with your device’s camera. As you’d expect, LinkedIn profile codes can also be shared easily over email or messaging platforms as well as displayed on websites and relevant merchandise.

A new Father’s Day-themed Apple Pay Promo is providing customers who spend at least $100 in the Nike app with a $20 gift code, according to emails Apple sent out to Apple Pay customers this afternoon.
The offer is valid from June 7 to June 11 and requires customers to make a $100 purchase using Apple Pay in Nike’s app. The $20 code is not provided at the time of purchase, but will be delivered within two weeks of purchase.
The $20 promo code must be redeemed by August 25 on a separate Nike app purchase. Apple is also promoting the Apple Store, StubHub, and Newegg as recommendations for Father’s Day.
