Amazon Confirms More Alexa-Enabled Speakers Will Eventually Support Apple Music

Amazon has confirmed that Apple Music will eventually be supported on additional Alexa-enabled speakers, according to a tweet from Mashable’s Raymond Wong spotted by AppleInsider. Amazon didn’t provide a timeframe for the rollout.

A variety of third-party Alexa speakers and devices are available from brands such as Sonos, JBL, Ultimate Ears, and First Alert.

2018 MacBook Air Teardown Confirms Improving Repairability With Adhesive Pull-Tabs Under Battery and Speakers

The repair experts at iFixit have completed their teardown of the new MacBook Air, providing a closer look inside the notebook.

iFixit started by confirming the keyboard on the new MacBook Air has the same silicone membrane under the keycaps as the latest MacBook Pro, as expected since they both use Apple’s third-generation butterfly keyboard.

Next, they flipped the notebook onto its bottom side and encountered Apple’s usual pentalobe screws that require a special screwdriver to unfasten. Epic Games Addresses Recent Fortnite Performance Issues on iOS, Confirms Fix Coming Soon

Fortnite players across platforms have taken to Reddit and Twitter over the past day to point out a few performance bugs plaguing the game in the wake of the new „High Stakes“ event, with a glut of users calling the iOS game unplayable over the last 12 hours.

Following the complaints, Epic Games this morning responded to players, stating that it is aware of the iOS performance issues and that it has begun working on a fix, which will be shared in an update „as soon as possible.“ The update is being tested internally, but no word was given on when it’ll be out.

Apple Confirms Removing as Many as 25,000 Illegal Gambling-Related Apps From App Store in China

Apple today confirmed it has removed „many“ illegal gambling apps, and developers distributing them, from its App Store in China.

The Wall Street Journal:

„Gambling apps are illegal and not allowed on the App Store in China,“ Apple said in a statement Monday. „We have already removed many apps and developers for trying to distribute illegal gambling apps on our App Store, and we are vigilant in our efforts to find these and stop them from being on the App Store.“

Chinese state broadcaster CCTV said 25,000 apps have been removed as of Sunday—which would be less than two percent of the estimated 1.8 million apps on the App [...]
