Earlier this year, Apple acquired digital magazine subscription service Texture and confirmed that it will be integrated into Apple News. And in April, it was reported that Apple plans to offer a Texture-based subscription news service with unlimited access to select newspapers and magazines for a monthly price.
Texture Now, Bloomberg News reports that the Apple News subscription service could be introduced as early as spring 2019. As we heard back in September, Apple is said to have held talks with major newspapers such as The New York Times, The Wall Street Journal, and The Washington Post about joining the service.

Google released Chrome 71 earlier this week, but the latest version of the web browser still lacks support for Dark Mode on macOS Mojave. Fortunately, it appears that will change by early next year.
Dark Mode in Canary, a developer build of Chrome As mentioned on Reddit, a Google developer recently submitted a code change that implements system-level Dark Mode in Chromium, the open source web browser that serves as the foundation of Chrome. The code change passed the review process and will make its way into a future release of Chrome.

Apple today updated its websites for China and Hong Kong, confirming that the HomePod will be launching in both territories sometime early next year. Apple added support for Mainland China and Hong Kong in the HomePod software update released as part of iOS 12.1.1 today.
Like other countries, users in China and Hong Kong will be able to buy HomePod in White and Space Gray.
In China the HomePod will cost RMB 2,799, and in Hong Kong it will be priced at HK 2,799. Both of these prices translate to about $358 in US Dollars, which is just over the $350 price of the HomePod in the United States.

Apple has placed a straight-to-series order for „Swagger,“ a drama series based on the early life of NBA All-Star Kevin Durant, according to Variety. The series was put into development back in February.
The series, produced by Durant’s Thirty Five Ventures, Imagine Television, and CBS Television Studios, is said to be inspired by Durant’s youth basketball experiences. It reportedly explores the world of amateur basketball in the Washington, D.C. area, including players, their families, and coaches.
