Google launched its redesigned Gmail web interface today, introducing several new features including some the company trialed in its Inbox for Gmail app. The launch is a phased rollout, so not all users will have immediate access to all the changes listed below, and those who do will need to opt-in to them.
The major visual difference comes in the form of a new right-hand sidebar that provides multiple options for customization. Users can choose to add Google Calendar, Google Keep, or Google Tasks in the side window, or collapse it completely and focus only on their inbox. Xiaomi unveiled its new Mi Mix 2S smartphone at a packed auditorium in Shanghai today, claiming that the handset surpasses iPhone X in several departments while only being half the price of Apple’s flagship device.
From the front, the maximum screen, minimal bezel design of the 5.9-inch phone looks almost identical to the Mix Mix 2 announced barely six months ago, but there are some changes to the rear, and the handset includes a number of internal updates, including support for Qi wireless charging, but it still lacks rated water resistance.

Apple has inked a deal for yet another television show, this time a docuseries called „Home,“ reports Variety.
The series will offer a „never-before-seen look inside the world’s most extraordinary homes“ while also delving into the imaginations of the visionaries who dreamed them up and built them. Based on the show’s description, it sounds a little bit like MTV’s „Cribs“ but with more of a design and architecture focus.
Apple has ordered 10 one-hour episodes of the „Home“ docuseries, which is produced by Matt Tynauer and Corey Reese of Altimeter Films.

Apple has launched an official Apple Support YouTube channel, uploading a series of videos that cover assorted iOS tips and tricks to help out customers new to iPhone and iPad.
First noted on Reddit, the Apple Support YouTube channel was registered on October 5, but had remained dormant until yesterday when the channel was quietly populated with its first 10 short how-to videos, which are between one and two minutes in length.
The videos offer quick-fire iOS tips such as „How to send and save GIFs on your iPhone“, „How to change the wallpaper on your iPhone or iPad“, and „How to delete call history on your iPhone“.
