The Procreate app for iOS was today updated to version 4.1, introducing several major new features that will enhance the drawing and art creation experience on the iPad.
A new Metal 2-powered Liquify feature lets artists push, pull, expand, pinch, and twirl their art using either touch-based gestures or Apple Pencil pressure for more control.
The Symmetry Drawing Guide in Procreate 4.1 lets users mirror strokes as they paint, with customizations that include half, quadrant, or radial devision with both mirror and rotational modes. Symmetry can be used with any brush or paint tool, along with Liquify and ColorDrop for unique works of art.

The new Frames tool, which marks Darkroom’s first top-level tool addition in three years, offers up content-aware frame colors. Content-aware color allows the frames tool to analyze the colors in your photograph and generate a set of frame colors that will match your image.

Popular photo filter app Prisma has been updated with an in-app store for users to download additional filters for free.
The photo app uses the predictive analyses of neural network technology to achieve its stylistic interpretations, which typically makes them more unique than standard photo filters.
Prisma says the new store will bring even more originality to users‘ pictures, with the promise of new styles being added to the store every week, and possibly every day further down the line.

Twitter today announced a list of new features for the web and mobile that plan to leverage the company’s learning technology to drastically reduce harassment on the service.
The updates will place more tools in the hands of the users to „control your experience,“ and overall Twitter said it intends to be more vocal and „communicate more clearly“ about the actions it takes in the realm of online safety.
