Apple today published an updated version of its iOS security white paper [PDF] for iOS 12, with information on new features and updates introduced with the iOS 12 software.
According to Apple’s Document Revision History, the updated guide covers iOS 12 features like Siri Suggestions, Siri Shortcuts, the Shortcuts app, Screen Time, Password AutoFill Student ID cards, and more.
On Siri Suggestions, for example, Apple explains that suggestions for apps and shortcuts are generated using on-device machine learning, with no data going to Apple except info that can’t be used to identify the user.

Plex’s new Live TV grid view, which is designed to allow customers to find TV shows and movies through a traditional grid-based user interface, is now available for Apple TV.
The grid view is available for both live TV content and content saved using the built-in DVR functionality in Plex. It first rolled out on the web in June before launching for tvOS today.
Grid view organizes TV shows by channel and time of day, much like a standard cable TV guide, with a scrollable timeline format for an overview of what’s on every channel that’s available to you.

The Symmetry Drawing Guide in Procreate 4.1 lets users mirror strokes as they paint, with customizations that include half, quadrant, or radial devision with both mirror and rotational modes. Hulu today announced several features that are coming to the web and its mobile apps for iOS and Android to optimize the mobile viewing experience.
Hulu’s Live TV guide, which debuted last week on the Apple TV, Xbox One, Amazon Fire TV, and Nintendo Switch, will be added to mobile devices, allowing users to get to live TV with fewer clicks, see what’s on, and see what’s coming up.
