Spotify and Hulu are further sweetening their student subscription offer by adding a monthly Showtime subscription into the mix, pricing everything at $0.99 for the first three months and $4.99 per month after (via The Verge). This means that eligible college students can get a Spotify Premium subscription ($9.99/month), Hulu With Limited Commercials subscription ($7.99/month), and a Showtime subscription ($10.99/month) for $4.99 per month.

Hulu’s Live TV guide, which debuted last week on the Apple TV, Xbox One, Amazon Fire TV, and Nintendo Switch, will be added to mobile devices, allowing users to get to live TV with fewer clicks, see what’s on, and see what’s coming up.

Hulu today announced the launch of a Live TV Guide that’s designed to allow subscribers to its live television service to access a dynamic list of the television programs that are currently available to watch.
Hulu first introduced a Live TV guide option on the web as a test project last fall, and promised an interface redesign with the Live TV guide back at CES in January. As of this morning, Hulu’s new guide and dedicated live destination is rolling out to the fourth and fifth-generation Apple TV, the Xbox One, the Amazon Fire TV, and the Nintendo Switch.

During its Upfronts presentation in New York City today Hulu confirmed that users will be able to download content from the streaming service and onto their mobile devices. This will let subscribers watch shows and films when not near Wi-Fi or a reliable mobile data connection.
The streaming company also confirmed that its offline download solution will be an „ad-supported downloadable content experience“ for subscribers of Hulu’s standard $7.99/month Limited Commercials plan. Those who pay for the $11.99/month No Commercials option will still be able to avoid ads offline.
