Happy 17th Birthday to Apple’s Original iPod

17 years ago today, then Apple CEO Steve Jobs stood on stage at the Apple Town Hall in Cupertino, California and showed off the very first iPod, a palm-sized device that held an entire music library and helped bring Apple back to profitability.

How to Install iOS 12 Public Beta on iPhone, iPad, and iPod Touch

Apple today released the first public beta of iOS 12 for compatible iPhone, iPad, and iPod touch models, enabling users who aren’t signed up for the Apple Developer Program to test the software update ahead of its official release in the fall.

While iOS 12 introduces several new features, it is designed to work on all iPhone, iPad, and iPod touch models that can run iOS 11, and the company says it has focused on bringing performance improvements to both old and new devices.

Former iPod Chief Tony Fadell Believes Apple Should Tackle Smartphone Addiction

Tony Fadell, who was instrumental to the creation of the iPod, believes Apple should tackle the issue of smartphone addiction.

Diese iPhone, iPad und iPod werden von iOS 11 unterstützt

Am 19. September 2017 wird das neue iOS 11 veröffentlicht. Das System wurde den ganzen Sommer über in einer ausführlichen Beta-Phase für diese Lancierung geschliffen und vorbereitet. Sobald es veröffentlicht wird, dürfen sich Millionen iPod-, iPad- und iPhone-Nutzer über neue Funktionen freuen. Aber nicht alle mit dem aktuellen iOS 10 kompatiblen Geräte sind auch mit dem neuen System kompatibel — weg fallen das iPhone 5, iPhone 5c und das iPad 4.
