„Are You Sleeping,“ a drama series that will star Octavia Spencer, has picked up several new cast members, including Aaron Paul, known for „Breaking Bad,“ reports Variety.
In addition to Spencer and Paul, „Are You Sleeping“ will star Lizzy Caplan (Masters of Sex), Ron Cephas Jones (This is Us), Elizabeth Perkins (Weeds), Mekhi Phifer (ER), Michael Beach (Sons of Anarchy), Tracie Thoms (UnREAL), and Haneefah Wood (Nurse Jackie).

Apple recently joined the Alliance for Open Media as a founding member, according to an updated member list first noticed by CNET.
The Alliance for Open Media, according to its website, was formed to „define and develop media codecs, media formats, and related technologies to address marketplace demand for an open standard for video compression and delivery over the web.“

Bidding for Toshiba’s much-sought-after memory chip unit was supposed to end in June 2017, after first kicking off in March, but the manufacturer is still fielding bids from multiple interested parties, most recently including a $17.4 billion offer from Western Digital. Likely due to Western Digital’s legal action against Toshiba’s decision to sell the NAND chip unit, talks surrounding that offer have reportedly „stalled“ and now a new consortium of companies — including Apple — has entered a „last-ditch“ effort to win the bidding.

Chris Lattner, once responsible for leading the teams behind Xcode and Swift, made headlines earlier this year when he left Apple to work at Tesla.
At the time, Lattner told MacRumors the opportunity to work on Tesla’s self-driving project with the Tesla Autopilot team was „irresistible.“ Lattner lasted just six months at Tesla, however, and left the company in June.
