Bloomberg Television today published a full-length interview between Apple CEO Tim Cook and David Rubenstein, one of three billionaire founders of private equity firm Carlyle Group, following a brief preview last month. The conversation took place at Cook’s alma mater Duke University on May 13.
Cook reflected on a wide range of topics, including his education and career path, relationship with the late Steve Jobs, the Apple Watch’s life-saving capabilities, politics, and social issues such as privacy, immigration, and equality.

Apple recently shared a new trailer for its upcoming Apple Music exclusive documentary, Clive Davis: The Soundtrack of Our Lives. The documentary is about the life of music producer Clive Davis and based on his autobiography of the same name that released in late 2013. Directed by Chris Perkel, the film catalogues the life of Davis from his start at Columbia Records in the 1960s, to his work at record companies like J Records and RCA Music Group in the 2000s.

Apple purchased the rights to the documentary „Clive Davis: The Soundtrack of Our Lives,“ reports Billboard. The documentary will premiere tonight at the Tribeca Film Festival at the Radio City Music Hall in New York.
The film was directed by Chris Perkel and is based on music producer Clive Davis‘ autobiography, released in 2013. Davis was the president of Columbia Records from 1967 to 1975, and he founded Arista Records, where he was president of the company until 2000. He went on to found J Records, and then served as CEO and chairman of RCA Music Group.
At the current time, Davis is the chief creative officer at Sony Music Entertainment. [...]
