How to Set Up Out-of-Office Replies in Apple Mail and iCloud Mail

Apple’s native Mail application in macOS lacks a specific option for enabling out-of-office replies, but there is another way you can set them up on a Mac, and that’s with Rules. It’s worth bearing in mind at the outset that your Mac needs to be powered on for this out-of-office method to work. That’s because Apple Mail rules are only applied locally to incoming emails, and aren’t active on the server side.

How to Add a Quick Drawing or Sketch to an Email in the Mail App in iOS 11

In iOS 11, Apple introduced a new feature that lets you add a quick drawing or sketch to an email message right within the Mail app. It’s a simple, easy-to-access feature, but it’s a little bit hidden, so you might not know that it exists.

Here’s how you can get to the built-in drawing tools in the Mail app on an iPhone or iPad: Open up the Mail app.

Things 3.3 Update Brings New ‚Mail to Things‘ Feature to the To-Do App

Popular to-do app Things reached version 3.3 today and gained a new feature that enables users to generate to-dos from anywhere by sending an email to their Things Cloud account.

Previously, Things offered four ways to add to-dos: Quick Entry, Siri, 3D Touch, and the Add to Things extension. However, the limitation of these methods is that they’re only available from within the Apple ecosystem. To make the process of adding tasks more accessible and convenient, Mail to Things allows users to send emails to a special private address, which automatically converts them into to-dos and adds them to their Things task list.

Apple, Microsoft Working to Fix iOS 11 Mail App Issues With, Office 365 & Exchange Accounts

Apple says it is working closely with Microsoft to fix an issue that prevents, Office 365, and Exchange 2016 account holders from sending or replying to emails using Apple’s native Mail app in iOS 11.

Apple published a support document on Tuesday, September 19 – the official launch date of iOS 11 – to acknowledge the issue affecting users of Microsoft email servers.
