Apple has been ordered to stop using a part of a recent press release that claimed the iPhone 7 and iPhone 8 would still be available in Germany through carriers and resellers, reports Bloomberg.
Apple released the statement following a preliminary injunction in December that prevented the company from selling older iPhones in Germany. Apple at the time said that while it would stop selling the devices at its own retail stores, they would remain available via other means.

Apple today sent press invites to a variety of news and media sites for its upcoming Worldwide Developers Conference, confirming plans to hold a keynote event on June 5 at 10:00 a.m. Pacific Time.
Apple traditionally holds a keynote event on the first day of the Worldwide Developers Conference, where new software is introduced. We expect to see new versions of iOS, macOS, tvOS, and watchOS at the conference, and there’s a chance we could also see new hardware like updated iMacs and Apple’s rumored Siri speaker.

Microsoft has overhauled its Xbox app for iOS, bringing new features and a look that’s more in line with its Windows 10 range of mobile apps.
The „Xbox One SmartGlass“ app, which is now titled simply „Xbox“, enables an iOS device to function as a remote control to maneuver through the Xbox One’s dashboard. It also displays information on the device when playing music or TV through the console, and can be used to browse the web.
As part of the refresh, the Activity Feed now becomes the main home screen of the app and gains a more personalized feel, with screenshots and game clips appearing in it that have been shared by friends. [...]
Apple today invited members of the press to attend the keynote event for its annual Worldwide Developers Conference, set to take place from June 13 to June 17. The keynote will be held on June 13 at 10:00 a.m., the standard start time for Apple’s media events.
