Media hub company Plex this week revealed a new way for its customers to navigate Plex’s Live TV service, through a more traditional grid-based user interface. Launching first in Plex’s web browser, the new grid view organizes live TV programs by channels and the time of day, much like classic cable TV guides.
While the program guide is only available on the web for now, Plex confirmed in a support article that the guide will launch for Apple TV and iOS apps in the near future. Apple appears to be rolling out a series of updates for Apple Music today, including a small but useful new section called „Coming Soon,“ which allows subscribers to check out new albums about to be released over the next few weeks. On iOS and macOS, the hub is located in the Browse tab > New Music > scroll down to find Coming Soon > tap „See All.“ Music Videos were previously the last thing to see here, but now Apple has introduced Coming Soon as well.

Apple is planning to share news on APFS support for Fusion Drives „very soon,“ Apple software engineering chief Craig Federighi told MacRumors reader Jonathan in an email this afternoon.
Federighi shared the detail after Jonathan sent him an email asking whether or not APFS was still in the works for Fusion Drives, which combine a hard drive with flash storage to provide the speed of an SSD with the affordability of a standard hard drive. Fusion Drives are used in iMacs and Mac mini machines.

Microsoft on Tuesday announced changes to its revenue sharing model with developers that will significantly undercut Apple and Google.
Starting later this year, the company says developers will receive 95 percent of the revenue earned from sales of their apps or in-app purchases on the Microsoft Store, excluding games and apps sold to organizations, but only when a customer uses a direct link to access and purchase the app.
