Do AirPods Work Well on Android Devices?

Though designed for the iPhone, Apple’s AirPods are also compatible with Android smartphones and tablets, so you can take advantage of Apple’s wire-free tech even if you’re an Android user or have both Android and Apple devices.

You do, of course, lose some bells and whistles like Apple’s unique AirPods pairing features. AirPods do, however, work like any other Bluetooth headphones on an Android device, and there are ways to restore at least some of their functionality through Android apps.

Netflix’s New Interactive ‚Black Mirror: Bandersnatch‘ Episode Doesn’t Work on Apple TV

The latest episode of popular horror series „Black Mirror“ is available on Netflix today, but you’re not going to want to watch it on the Apple TV.

„Bandersnatch,“ the new episode, is an interactive choose-your-own adventure style show where you make the decisions on how the story progresses. As it turns out, the interactive feature does not work on the Apple TV, Chromecast, the Windows App, or browsers using Silverlight.

According to a Netflix support document, its interactive content is limited to smart TVs, streaming media players, game consoles, iOS devices, and Android devices running the latest version of the Netflix app. [...]

Apple Jumps 13 Spots in Glassdoor’s Annual List of Best Places to Work, But Remains Far Behind Facebook and Google

Apple has ranked 71st on Glassdoor’s annual list of the best companies to work for in the United States, an improvement over its rank of 84th last year, but the iPhone maker remains far behind a handful of tech rivals.

Facebook and Google are both among the top of the 2019 list, ranking seventh and eighth respectively, followed by Adobe in 30th and Microsoft in 34th. Other tech-related companies that cracked the list include LinkedIn in sixth, Nvidia in 36th, VMware in 51st, T-Mobile in 59th, and HP in 87th.

Beyond tech, notable inclusions are In-N-Out Burger in third, Southwest Airlines in 10th, St. Jude Children’s Hospital in 13th, and FedEx in 85th. [...]

Apple Reportedly Reassigned Some Marketing Staff to Work on Bolstering Sales of iPhone XS and iPhone XR

Apple moved some of its marketing staff off other projects to focus on bolstering sales of the latest iPhone lineup in late October, around the time the iPhone XR launched, according to Bloomberg’s Mark Gurman.

The report cites an unnamed person familiar with the situation who described the move as a „fire drill“ and „a possible admission that the devices may have been selling below some expectations,“ a concern shared by some analysts and investors. Apple’s stock price has plunged nearly 17 percent since November 1.
